tagging
I’ve been doing a lot of reading about tagging lately, and exploring a lot of websites which use the feature. It is fascinating on many levels, but mostly it is compelling to me because of the social information sharing aspect. People can see how others tagged the same item. People can tag others’ items. In this weird online world where people interact with a monitor, it is a way to connect with others and to tap into the perspectives of others.
And, of course, I am into the organizational aspect of it.
