Ok, my penny-pinching friends. With the exception of a few of you who have sold your souls for luxury, most of you who read this are poor like me. Those 2 pennies per gallon on gas make a 30% difference in your snack money for the week. Well, there’s a cool site called GasBuddy which lets users report cheap (and expensive) gas prices. There seems to be a pretty comprehensive and relatively up-to-date database for many cities, including New Haven, Boston, and Nashville.

Ok, I just successfully installed Untiens’ awesome Live+Press, which allows me to synch my livejournal entries with my FriedAppleBlurbs blog. Now my blogging life can be made a little simpler. I’m not yet sure how I will organize which posts go where, but we’ll see, I guess.

Not that I can post that often since Comcast has been jerking us around for over a week now, and our internet still does not work. And they had the nerve to charge us over $100 in installation fees, when all they did was “install” two cable wires, a big hole, and many man-sweat-stains on our walls. No worries though, The Little Red-Haired Girl called and cussed them out. Sort of. She just asked that they fix the bill. Hopefully that will be all good.

That’s the news for today, so far. I’ll have some random posts to share soon, I’m sure, since I’ve decided to spend the afternoon in the library catching up on my internet surfing. There’s little time before the crush of the school year begins.
