yesterday was a turning point
Yesterday was our anniversary. It was a pretty regular day, what with school and all those mundane life-requirements. After I felt I’d done enough work The Little Red-Haired Girl and I celebrated the anniversary with some quality time, a baguette, brie, pate, roasted garlic, and prosecco. Very chill, very nice. We also reprogrammed the Tivo.
That’s right, friends, we reprogrammed the Tivo. That means that we finally got internet!!! It’s life-changing. I don’t know why. It may just be a mindset, it may have to do with connectivity, or efficiency, or convenience. Probably a combination of those things and more. But suddenly I’m feeling ready to face this slow, unreliable world again.
Last night, we saw a lady on an Aveeno commercial who The Little Red-Haired Girl insisted was someone familiar. And then we looked her up on the internet!. It’s the little things, really.
