working conditions
I have a nice L-shaped desk in my office, which The Little Red-Haired Girl and I got a great deal on from someone on craigslist. It has a nice space for all the pieces of my computer while still leaving plenty of room for me to spread my work out. Generally I plug my laptop in on the right arm of the “L” (where the available socket is), and do non-laptop related work on the left arm. The problem is that the floor is slanted, and my chair is on wheels. So while doing any work on my lappy, I usually find myself rolling away backwards. It’s a little bit frustrating, to tell the truth.
