new friends intro, part 2
I’ve mentioned Mischief Man before, but I figured I should say a little more about him. It seems that he and his wife, The Kindergarten Teacher, might be mentioned a fair bit here. For the record, their names may change if I think of anything better.
Last night we went to their house, along with Everything Guy and The Theater Professor. They had made a big pot of chili, and we sat around chatting and watching the Vandy football team get killed. I was going to get a haircut from The Theater Professor, but it got too late.
Mischief Man and his wife have lived in Nashville for a long time. They both went to college here, and now he is getting his PhD here. She, of course, is a teacher. They are both super nice and welcoming; they’ve had us over to their house a few times, and we always enjoy hanging out and chatting with them. They’ve also been a really great resource for us when we need to figure out how to live here. I want to say more about them, but I am too lazy to write right now. It is a chilly sunday afternoon, and I’ve been doing a lot of schoolwork this weekend. The Little Red-Haired Girl is working, and I feel unmotivated yet anxious at the same time. Which means that I will procrastinate and feel guilty for the rest of the afternoon.
