“working” day today
So, the first thing I did after I got up this morning was make a list of school work that I have to do for the next few days. Oy. There’s a little more than I’d accounted for. Which means that I have to squeeze in as much as possible before 1 this afternoon, when Mischief Man and Everything Guy are coming over to help me with my “Investigation of Thinking” project (which consists of me videotaping them learning a Dance Dance Revolution routine). You might say, but friedApplePie, it’s already 11:30! Yes, it’s true, somehow I’ve managed to piss my morning away. Most of it was working on The Little Red-Haired Girl’s laptop, which needs heavy duty reformatting and some general scolding. Clearly more compelling than trying to understand inscription. It’s my own bad for eschewing a perfectly rewarding career in tech support for this high-falutin’ academic stuff. Maybe someday I’ll find a way to combine the two in some kind of lucrative endeavor.
