i know no one cares but:
turner just fouled out
uconn is down 4 points
ut has just looked like a better team tonight
revision, uconn is down 6 points, and there is less than a minute left

i know the game is already over in real life, but i’m on tivo delay. i’m not sure i can take it anymore. on top of which, there will be some withdrawal when the game ends. argh.

*update #2* uconn is going to be practicing some free throws in coming days, i think. tennessee remains undefeated. good for them, but it would have been nice to see uconn take that from them. uconn men vs lsu next. not as much fun, but a nice way to finish basketball day.

Today the Uconn women take on Tennessee. Having grown up in Connecticut, my alliances will always be with the Huskies. That does not mean, however, that I do not appreciate how good the Tennessee program is. This afternoon I get to watch both. It’d be nice if I could have figured out a way to go the the game, but I didn’t try that hard since The Little Red Haired Girl is working and I don’t think anyone else I know here would be interested. At the very least I will be watching it on Tivo, on a 30 minute delay. The game starts at 2pm, but that is WAY too early to start drinking beer, even for my standards. In addition the 30 minute delay lets me fast forward through some of the ads.
