the world is your acorn

4 years ago today I rushed home from work, showered, changed, and, against my better Boston-driver-judgement, drove to Newbury Street. I was meeting a friend of my roommate, a woman with whom I’d nervously made a date 5 days before. I was working Dykenight at the Midway that night, so we only had time for a quick dinner. Good thing too, because I was so nervous that I barely looked up from my burger the entire time, and I certainly didn’t carry my share of the conversation. Miraculously The Little Red Haired Girl stuck it out with me, and here we are 4 years later in Nashville with a home, a dog, and a life together. I couldn’t be luckier.

These three adorable kittens (photos attached — CUTE!) live in our yard (and sometimes in our house) and are friendly and sweet and playful and will be spayed and have their shots and are ready for adoption in the next few days! YAY!
