    My personal favorite coming out story? Not that you asked, but one of my best friends sat at the dinner table with her very extended, very Noo Yawk, very loud, very Jewish family and said, “I’m gay. Pass the salt.”

    May many others follow her example today, lose the stigma, and gain probably unexpected support.
